American's are in difficult times. Schools, mental health agencies, and law enforcement are seeing major increases in aggression, violence and mental aggravation. Covid-19 has many on edge due to restrictive finances, difficult confinements and health risk. Organizations must take into consideration how this virus affects our personal lives as well as our professional ones.
The recent killing of George Floyd reflects an epic concern within our society. Those that are charged with caring and protected our populace must be better trained to facility higher levels of profession accomplishment. The ability to recognize escalation, assess its origins, and facilitate the correct pathways of de-escalation are vital components to crisis prevention and de-escalation effectiveness.
Adaptive De-Escalation Alternatives (ADA) is a training curriculum that utilizes best practices that are designed to minimize crisis and maintain a calm environment. Several ADA seminars (Prevention) will be offered during this summer.
