What People Are Saying
The Adaptive De-Escalation Alternatives (ADA) Program is excellent in design, comprehensiveness, and relevance. This program is well-grounded in research and can be used in a variety of settings. As an educator with twenty-five years of experience in research and program design, I feel that ADA can be a very effective approach for promoting safe and behavior-managed environments.
ADA is a "must have" manual to be used in all settings for anyone dealing with human behavior, crisis prevention and response situations. Over the years, I have trained many individuals on theory and application regarding how to avoid and respond to crisis. I must say, that your prevention and protection manual provides a very practical, comprehensive and easy to understand approach for responding to crisis.

I have closely reviewed the Adaptive De-Escalation Alternatives (ADA) Manual and find its approach to training realistic and applicable. The pathways of prevention are on point to how the industry seeks to maintain a calm environment within a youth environment. As a retired Behavior Modification Technician, I have received various forms of de-escalation training throughout my career, and can honestly say that ADA is superior to any.
Upon the completion of reviewing the ADA Prevention and Protection Manual, I found it to be refreshing and realistic. I have reviewed thousands of articles, manuscripts, and conceptions and seldom find any of substance or credibility. I am a retired martial arts Master with 30 years of curriculum development and evaluation. ADA is a "must have" for anyone responsible for the well being of their clients, students or charges.
